Quickest Way to Insanity Homeschool Your Kids! Testimonials:

Thank you so much for speaking at the South Florida convention today. I learned so much about the brain, how it works, and how I can better teach my children! I have two left that I am homeschooling, a 5yr old daughter and a 15yr old son. Boy would he have been smirking throughout your whole session! He sleeps in, has a short attention span and then has to move around. You described him well today! Thank you again for blessing us at the convention. I am now armed (after 13 years of homeschooling) with knowledge about my childrens' brains and how better to teach them and help them learn!

God bless you,
-Cindy Dembeck

“I met you at the Ft. Lauderdale homeschool convention. I learned so much. My kids were relieved when during our next lesson I allowed drink breaks and encouraged them to get up and move. Thanks for the insight.”

-Jeni Grant

“Thank you for your confirmation. I really enjoyed listening to you speak at the recent FL Home Schooling Convention. Out of all the presentations I heard that day, I enjoyed yours the most. It was truly a 'learning experience' for me. I was very eager to share your wealth of knowledge with friends and family? 'Your Best Mind' further reaffirmed my belief in home schooling and why our current public education system is just not equipped to teach children to their full potential.

I look forward to seeing you again in the future!”

-Andrea Rojas

“I have been a homeschooling Mom for 10 years. I feel that I have always chosen really great curriculum products, but we have always butted heads. It was not until I heard Julie's lecture last year that it really clicked for me. My son and I have different learning styles. I applied what I heard in this wonderful lecture and changed my expectations of him based on his learning style. We had the most peaceful years of homeschooling last year. Thank you so much for sharing your insight into this subject with the rest of us.”

-Peggy Spires

“Please have Julie Anderson as a keynote next year. This is a session EVERY SINGLE homeschool parent should hear. We all consider curriculum and reading and some of us consider the spiritual component but how many of us consider how our kids learn? Realizing how little things like rest and sleep and moving during learning can really improve our delivery. The brain is where it starts. The session was interactive and practical. One of THE BEST sessions I attended.”

-Anna Brown

“I really enjoyed and got a lot out of Julie Anderson's presentation. I think she would make a good keynote speaker because: 1) Many are interested in the health of the brain and how to enhance learning. 2) Many (all?) want to know easy ways to enhance learning. 3) She's fun and gives examples right in the talk. Thanks!”

-Colleen Jenkins

“Hi. My name is Cherese and I have been homeschooling three years. We took our nine year old son out of a gifted school that taught the kids with many of the techniques discussed in this workshop. As a homeschooler we never understood the importance of it. All through this workshop we learned so much and feel that Ms. Julie Anderson should be a keynote speaker for next year—as this information is so greatly needed for all of us homeschoolers. Learning about the brain and how it works is incredibly important.”

-Cherese Bower

“I found Julie Anderson's presentation on 'How the Brain Learns' to be extremely beneficial to me in understanding childrens' needs when it comes to setting up the learning environment at home so that we can all have the absolute best experience. I would have loved to listed to a longer, even 'meatier' presentation and I feel it would be of great benefit to all homeschoolers.”

“This workshop was a last minute decision for me—I had four others I was trying to decide between—and I'm so glad I attended it. The information about creating a brain-friendly environment was very helpful. I had no idea that the classroom-type setting is actually harmful to our children. If I hadn't attended this workshop, I definitely would have tried to recreate a classroom environment in my home. But now I'm leaning more toward bean bags and being more relaxed with my children! Thank you so much for your insight!”

“Julie Anderson's 'How the Brain Learns' was exactly what I have been searching for at convention this year. I am very excited to incorporate her ideas for a 'brain-healthy' school room this fall. Please consider adding more of these lectures and keynote addresses next year.”

-Jill Johnson

“Julie Anderson's workshop was excellent for two main reasons: 1) She was very communicative. Speaking from experience, she used many real life examples to illustrate her points. Also, she is very articulate and clear in how she speaks, using language that the average homeschooler can understand. She made good use of projected graphics that supported what she said, and enabled her to fit an incredible amount of content into a 50-minute presentation. She finished right on time, but stayed and talked with use for quite awhile after the workshop. 2) Her content was eye-opening. It helped us understand why our children act the way they do, and showed us practical ways to make our teaching more effective for each child, based on their particular 'brain lead.' We now see why certain aspects of teaching have been such a struggle for us, and it gave us a new hope that we can get through these struggles successfully. It changed how we do homeschool. We highly recommend this workshop and all of Julie's content.”

-Jeff and Ava Murphy

"I LOVE IT!!"

-L.R Nevada County

"I find many homeschool guides to be passionate, helpful and interesting but they often lack a down-to-earth approach. You have used an easy-going, conversational style that seems to be more like a group of parents just trading ideas rather than a lofty philosophy."

-C.F San Francisco

"I guess I thought it was going to be "humorous," but instead has some real meat to it about how the brain works."

-A.Z Milpitas

"I'm always interested in learning more, and this has so much useable content that when I decide to have a child it will be a great resource to turn to as I raise and school them."
